I did not want to leave there, so would recomand this hotel. Had really great stay for the price with superfriendly staff and peaceful location very close to downtown. I booked a reasonably spacious and quiet room complete with modern bathroom, a good bed.

Great location. But not very pleased with the condition of the room.
Location, nice size room, bed was comfortable, pet friendly.
Other than the size of the room and comfortable bed, was not pleased with the room. Towel racks were falling off the wall, tub was very dirty and did not hold water so could not take a bath. when I took out the trash, the bottom of the barrel was extremely disgusting. Tv and tables were very dusty. We were right near a maintenance room and they were extremely loud which prevented us from resting and really scared my cat. There were several burn holes in the comforter on both beds. Floors were extremely dirty. There was mulch type stuff all over the floor and under the beds it did not look like it had ever been cleaned. On the second day I mentioned something to housekeeping. She handed me a broom and I swept my own room!!! She wasn't rude, but figured they would clean the floor. Most of the staff were good except that and one girl working the desk in the morning. I paid for 3 nights and feel like I paid too much for what we had. But this is the closest pet friendly hotel near me and probably will be back unfortunately because it is the closest one to me and sometimes I need a break from everyday life and can not travel too far due to me having a therapy cat and I do not want him in the car too long. I like to get away for at least 2 to 3 nights and I just hope there are changes by the time i go back. Probably will not be until winter because of the summer rates going up unfortunately. Really wish it was better because it is a perfect location for me.

The room was decently priced but came with some drawbacks. While the front desk staff were surprisingly friendly, the cleanliness left much to be desired with dirty towels and a malfunctioning microwave. The common areas felt neglected, giving an impression of a less-than-safe environment.

The carpets needed washing, but the clean hardwood floors in the room were a nice touch. The staff were great and helpful when asked for assistance. Unfortunately, there were several minor issues in the room, such as outdated bathroom fixtures and mold due to a leaking problem. The building had a noticeable cloud of smoke upon entering, which detracted from the experience.

I appreciated the location near local attractions. Comfortable beds helped us relax after our adventures. One light in our room didn't work perfectly, but overall I had a fantastic time exploring Newport's charm with my partner. Definitely a nice experience!

We checked out the Newport Playhouse and the Naval War College Museum, both awesome spots. The location made it easy to explore local attractions, and the parking was plentiful. Beds were comfy, giving us great rest after busy days filled with fun. I recommend asking the front desk for local dining tips.
Unfortunately, we had a small hiccup with the light in our room. Only one of the lights worked, a bit dim at times, but we managed. It wasn't a huge deal, just something to keep in mind.
